I've been designing award-winning books for publishers, authors, and readers for over twenty years. After working on staff at the University of New Mexico Press and the University of California Press, I'm now happily working as an independent designer from my home studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Past projects include poetry books, scholarly books, novels, and art or photography books. Reference, science books, and midlist books in general are some of my favorites, where a little good design attention goes a long way.
